Awaken What You Were Never Meant to Forget

There is a kind of knowing that doesn’t come from books. It hums beneath the surface—waiting. A recipe remembered by the hands, not the mind. A scent that brings tears to your eyes, and you don’t know why. A plant you recognize without having ever learned its name.

This is the wisdom in your bones.

And Witches’ Brews is here to help you reclaim it. Part ancestral guide, part spellbook, part kitchen companion, this richly woven collection invites you back into sacred relationship—with food, with land, with story, and with self.

This isn’t just a book about herbs and broth and potions— it’s a path back to the old ways that were almost forgotten… but never truly lost.

Witches’ Brews is an invitation to listen deeply. To cook, to stir, to bless, and to remember: You are the descendant of wise ones. Their wisdom lives in your bones.

Witches' Brews Book on Table

Why Witches Brews?

Witches’ Brews is a key to what already lives in your bones— a remembering of something they tried to make us forget.

For generations, the wisdom of our wise women ancestors was suppressed, dismissed, or silenced. But like in the old fairy tales, the real magic was never truly lost. It went underground. It lived on in a drizzle of honey left for the fairies, superstitions, and soup spoons, in the quiet knowing that hums beneath the surface.

This book is part of the unlocking that wisdom, our ancestral inheritance.

In a world overflowing with kitchen witch guides and trendy potions, Witches’ Brews offers something different: a soulful, embodied invitation to remember your path. The magic here isn’t someone else’s, it’s here to guide you in finding yours.

Crafted by a mother, anthropologist, and ritualist living on the ancient island of Sardinia, this book weaves ancestral foodways, sacred homemaking, and everyday animism into a deeply rooted guide.

Whether you’re new to the Old Ways or deepening your path, inside you’ll find:

  • Folk herbalism through a mythic and ancestral lens

  • Old world kitchen magic and nourishing seasonal recipes

  • Reflections on animism, lineage, land connection, and ritual care

  • Invitations to remember what your wise ancestors once carried in plain sight

This book won’t teach you how to perform magic.

It will remind you how to live it.

Join the circle of kindred spirits who are remembering too.

Let this be your invitation back to what was never truly lost.

Witches Brew is an invocation simmering on the hearth, asking us to infuse magic and mystery into our busy lives.

A portal for remembering our relationship to our ancestors who knew how to use what was readily available in the home to heal the heart, nourish the soul, and weave protective spells, this book explores domesticity with depth, cleaning with cunning. Jenn Campus offers readers simple yet powerful guidance to craft recipes and create rituals that are steeped in the wisdom of myth, history, cuisine, plant lore, folk healing, and everyday magic. She shows us that the ways we care for ourselves, our families, communities, and environment can be enriched by simply tending to our quotidian labors with mindful intention, a sprinkling of the sacred, and a peppering of poetry and prayer.
